The southern side of Klamath Falls runs across the Basin floor and has more of a suburban feel. These neighborhoods are in closer proximity to the Air Force Base, offering short commute times, and are well connected to major roadways to anywhere in town Sunset Village and Sunset Village East are located on the outer edge of suburban Klamath Falls, in between Highway 39 and Homedale. There are a variety of housing styles, with many larger trees. Sunset Village is an older neighborhood, with many 70’s style ranch houses. Tucked up near the OC&E Woods Line State Trail is a small grouping of multi-family dwellings. Sunset East is slightly more spread out, with newer construction. Many of the houses are split level, suitable for larger families. Both Sunset and Sunset East are within walking distance to Keller Park.
