Founded in 1947, OIT has evolved from a
vocational rehabilitation school for World
War II veterans to an accredited public
university that offers 44 majors and
degrees including various Engineering
programs, Dental Hygiene, Nursing

KCC is an accredited junior college
that seeks to make quality education
accessible, offering a variety of associate
degrees and certifications to prepare
students to successfully enter the
workforce. In an effort to increase
affordability and bachelor degree
completion, KCC has launched a program
called the Badger to Owl Connection.
This programs offers qualified KCC
students financial incentives for
continuing their education at Oregon
Institute of Technology.

College of Cosmetology

courses in Hair Design, Nails, Esthetics,
and Barbering, “stressing the importance
of ethical, professional practices
and safety measures” (College of
Cosmetology Mission Statement). In
