The KCDR has been featured on PBS and CNN in high-profile search missions. For those certified in dive rescue, or just interested in serving their country through scuba related activities, KCDR is always taking volunteer applications.

The large and placid waters of Lake Ewauna (adjacent to Downtown Klamath Falls) offers a 2,200m competitive rowing course and an additional 28 km of row-able waterway downstream the Klamath River, and a 10-month rowing season (barring the occasional storm). Boathouse available for members.
